Slick carry-on luggage
Love the design and already owned a Hartmann before. I miss the little side zipped pockets and the fact that the zipped pockets on top the left part are not see-through. Small details. It is worth noting that it is slightly taller than my previous suitcase. The wheels are super smooth as well. It just survived a transatlantic flight unharmed after I had to check it.

Very Poor Quality
Very attractive luggage set, both hard suitcases that were purchased had two straps on the back of the case. I checked this bag and carried on my smaller hardcase. While placing the smaller case in the overhead department, I heard a pop, and the back strap fell off. When I claimed this bag, the same thing occurred. Also, I found that the zippers on both cases are stiff and difficult to use.
One positive, the inside of the case is very nicely appointed.
Inconclusion, I would not advise anyone to purchase this product hard cases until the quality issues are fixed.

Don’t be fooled by the outward appearance
So incredibly disappointed with the quality of this bag after being a Hartmann customer for years. The bag looks good from a distance but pretty cheaply made up close. Side strap broke on second use without any stress put on it (when it broke, you could the see the cheap plastic fitting inside the bag). Zippers are wonky and temperamental — I imagine they too will break after moderate use, epically reading other reviews. Unless o just happened to get a lemon, Samsonite should be ashamed of putting this out under the Hartmann name especially at the price point.

Just DIDNT Realize
That it was actually plastic-based….even though I read all the descriptions, I thought it was going to be a type of metal….i last bought luggage in 1999, from Hartmann, which lasted me 26 years(!) so I have not kept up to date on current luggage trends. I had only seen other people at airports using metal luggage so I just assumed that this was metal because of the way it looked online. HOWEVER, when I got it & saw how beautiful it was, I didn’t care a bit that it wasn’t metal & I kept it. We will be using it for the first time for an upcoming trip, so can’t give a full review, but I absolutely LOVE the look, the interior, all the pouches & special compartment, the way it rolls, everything about it. And since I had such fabulous luck with my other Hartmann luggage, I wouldn’t consider buying another brand…!
