I returned the dress because

Great fabric
Too tight on the chest abs waist. I’m usually between 6-8 pants and 8 in dresses. The size 8 was very tight, hoping that sizing up will be a better fit. Thick, non see through fabric.

Mixed Feelings
The dress isn’t see-through, which was great. I did have to shorten the straps a bit, and I ended up sizing up—probably because the material is thicker. The process of returning the dress and getting the new size was pleasant. I bought it for graduation and wore it for my grad photos yesterday.
Unfortunately, once I got back to my car, the zipper completely broke. Since the dress can’t really be worn with a bra, I was left in a pretty stressful situation trying to figure out how to get back up to my apartment without being exposed. It was really disappointing.
I’m planning to take it to a tailor to replace the zipper so it doesn’t go to waste. Thankfully, it didn’t happen during the photos or on graduation day.

Dress gathers in the front and the lining at the top is off. Also the dress came with marks on it.
