Plus Size 1920s Hemingway Flapper Dress

I ordered this dress to go to a cocktail hour at an Art Deco style bar hosted by the bride and groom of a wedding I was attending. This dress was so poorly put together that when I took it to an experienced seamstress she said there was nothing she could do to fix it because it had all been put together wrong. The seam for the drop waist was completely uneven, the arms and triangle lace back detail were misshapen, and the fabric had a huge gather of material where it was supposed to lay flat over the underskirt. needless to say I didn’t wear it! I have gotten items from this site before that I was happy with, however this experience may have turned me away completely. There is no excuse for something being put together this way and making it through quality control. Had this been sewn correctly it would have been amazing and fit as advertised. Even the seamstress acknowledged that it would have been great had someone bothered to check the work!
