PFG Castback^™ Water Resistant Fishing Shoe (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for wearing aboard our boat. A previous pair of canvas "boating" shoes wore out quickly and did not have a secure grip on wet surfaces. These feel much more safe on wet decks and docks and have a vinyl piece protecting the toe. The breathable mesh helps my feet stay cooler, too. I have narrow feet, but I am easily able to lace these to feel secure without feeling tight. I've only worn them once but already know they are a much better shoe for boating.

I’m always a true to size 9.5 and don’t need a wide shoe but my feet aren’t necessarily narrow either. Unfortunately these are narrow and my sides of my feet jut out the sides but not enough to make it uncomfortable, there’s still support and it’s not very obvious visually. However it makes me upset. The shoes make my feet look larger as the 9.5 is more like a women’s 10. I had to order two pair of insoles to layer in each shoe so they fit properly, unfortunately I have to lace these uncomfortably tight so my feet don’t slip around in them. Also I get they are called cast back but nowhere in the description did it mention these were fishing shoes - I bought these for the gym. Despite being relatively unhappy I can make these work. I bought these when on sale for 40 bucks.
