Helena Belted Long Sleeve Sweater Dress

Im 5ft 11, 198lbs. Ordered a size XL. Whoa! Its definitely a bit more fitted than I was expecting. You will need some Gutzpah to pull this off. Nice fabric has a touch of stretch to it. Wish it was 3-4 inches longer, but thats only because Im so tall. True Berry/Wine color. Not as red as photos show.

This is a beautiful dress and it seems to be high quality in its construction. As other reviewers have said, though, the waist is extremely high and as someone who is on the taller side (5'9"), the waist line hit just under my chest and was far too high to look good. The tie belt also would not stay in line with the waist line of the dress, which made it also look awkward. I really wanted to love this dress, but there's no way I can ever wear it with the way the waistline was right under my boobs. Sadly, I'm returning it and will not be ordering a replacement. In terms of size, I am always a very solid Medium, so I ordered the Medium/Large and I would say it was as snug as I would want it, so I feel this runs a bit small.
