Too long for petite girls. . . I'm so bummed but I'm too short (5'3) for these even with tucking them up and in the cords are the hem. Great med weight fabric, cute style if you're looking for serious hiking pants not so sure, they swish when you walk. I go on long hikes and that would drive me nuts. Perfect for chilling at a camp fire or styling as a casual day out fit.
