Our versatile Pasquino scarf. One side features a refined herringbone pattern, while the other boasts a classic paisley design, giving you two sophisticated looks in one scarf. As a teenager in Rome, my friends and I sometimes visited the Pasquino cinema in Trastevere, a neighborhood rich in history. The name Pasquino traces back to Rome's first "talking statue,” This ancient statue, dating back to the 3rd century BC, became a voice for the people, with anonymous satirical messages attached to its base. Even today, Romans use Pasquino to share their witty takes on politics and life. Wearing the Pasquino Silk Scarf, you carry a piece of this spirited tradition with you, blending timeless elegance with a touch of Roman heritage.
- Sized for a perfect drape: Approx: 8.5” x 70”. This allows for an elegant look that sets you apart. Most men's scarves of this type are available in a 60"-63" length which is simply too short for most men for adequate coverage and drape.
- 100% silk twill: A soft, silky fabric traditionally used in men's tailoring for its look and its drape. Characterized by a diagonal weave which makes it very durable.
- Double sided: This means that the same silk is on both sides, so no matter how you wear it, it looks great.
- Hand fringed hem: The short ends are left open with an eyelash hem. This keeps the scarf from curling and looks fabulous, too!
- Pure luxury, naturally dyed: We use non-toxic vegetable dyes that preserve the silk's softness, free from harmful chemicals that can irritate your skin (and is better for the planet!)
