Organic Cotton Relaxed Slub Long Sleeve Button Up

I bought this shirt because one of my favorite shirts ever was the relaxed slub button up from Pact this spring. Since it’s the same fabric, I thought the cut and sizing would be similar, just as a long sleeve version for cooler months. To my surprise, the buttons almost popped open in the bust. For reference I am a 41” bust and I bought a large. Looking at this shirt laying flat, and from fitting on me, the shoulder is too narrow, which throws off most of the shirt’s fit. Also, I want to speak about the inconsistency in sizing. My short sleeve shirt (same size) is 24” PTP. This long sleeve is 22” PTP. I’m tempted to order a size up to get a more comfortable fit, as the ore color is gorgeous, but I don’t know if the issue in the shoulders would be resolved. I wish the shoulder was wider or even not so structured, or if it had pleating in the back to give more room in the shoulders.
