Run Division Stride Running Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Dri-FIT Run Division Stride 4" short is fantastic training day short, especially on hot and humid days. Having a 32" waist with a larger rear end and thicker thighs, I was very pleased with the size medium "athletic" fit of these shorts. The shorts have a nearly unnoticeable feeling when running and breathe extremely well. I have found many past running shorts to become water-logged with sweat and cling to my thighs during my hot summer runs, while these shorts have felt light and airy. There are no restrictions to running form due to the side splits and mid-thigh length. The shorter cut does feel somewhat revealing though, so I would not recommend them to anyone who is sensitive to showing more of their legs. The built in liner brief consistently stays in place and comfortably secures your undercarriage. Although I found these shorts very comfortable while running, they are not a pair of shorts I would choose to lounge around in as the material and liner feel just okay when standing or sitting around. Simply stated, these shorts were built to shine when hitting the pavement or trails. Another major highlight of these shorts that I love is the 3 generous zippered pockets, with 2 on the side and 1 in the center back that can hold a standard sized smart phone (e.g., iPhone 12, Google Pixel 7). The back pocket has a bungee-loop closure that I envision being ideal for stuffing an outer layer after heating up during cooler weather runs. The side pockets can easily fit gels and keys, making these shorts a great choice for my marathon training runs. Overall, given their breathability, lightweight feel, and the ease of carrying my race nutrition, these shorts are now my new go-to training and race day short.

The fabric feels strong and durable, assuring me that these shorts will withstand countless workouts without showing signs of wear and tear. Yet, despite their sturdiness, the fabric manages to remain lightweight, allowing for excellent breathability throughout my runs. The large pockets are a game-changer! I was surprised to find I could easily carry a cell phone, wallet, and keys without feeling weighed down. The zippered pockets are a huge plus, providing extra security for my belongings. The side pockets are easily accessible which makes it a breeze to store whatever I need on the go. However, there is a slight downside to the back pocket. As the owner of a larger cell phone, I found that the back pocket was not ideally sized to accommodate it securely. Nonetheless, I believe this would work perfectly for most other cell phone types. It's not a deal-breaker for me, though, as the side pockets more than make up for it. All in all, I couldn't be happier with these shorts. The comfortable fit, stylish design, and high-quality fabric are just some of the features that have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend these shorts to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and style for their workouts. Don't hesitate to invest in a pair – you won't regret it!

I’m a hefty guy and I haven’t gotten used to the shorter length shorts but these are a great intro into the more trendy style. I think they’re most comfortable for me because of the Uber lining. I’m not afraid of them riding up too high and I can comfortably work out. The fabric is comfortable and breathable I definitely want to get another few pairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nike shorts. They did seem a little smaller than I normally would wear but they are so comfortable. They have a mesh under layer which held everything in. The material is high quality and not too hot/sticky. They pockets have zippers which is nice but the stick out which really bothered me but just a small detail. Overall a very nice short. I would size up if I were to order again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enjoying long runs and sprints in these shirts. Material is stretchy Dri-Fit so doesn’t limit my range. Also length is perfect for my long runs with elevation. The shorts have three zippered pockets, two size ones and one in the back near the waistband that sits in the outside of the shorts (it’s a a mesh material, sewn along the waistband and then again along the bottom so it creates an additional sort of pocket, open on both sides - this is what I use to hold my phone vs. the zippered pockets because my phone case is rubber and makes it hard to get into the zippered ones). I do wish the back zippered pockets was a bit larger to fit my iPhone 12 without removing my case since I track my runs with my phone. The slide through pocket holds fine until the third mile (7-8 mph pace) and then I have to readjust or it falls out. Overall though, definitely reaching for these shorts for comfort and ease, plus the inner mesh liner makes them a go-to. Get some!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are very comfortable and fit very well. The shorts are supportive with the inner lining. These are the shortest shorts I have ever worn (4 inch). I am 6’9” so I am not use to having shorts so much above my knee. I am interested to see if I become more comfortable with shorter shorts. The fabric feels high quality and that it will last for many runs. I like these shorts overall, but if I could change one thing I might add a couple more inches to the length just because of my height.
