Air Max 1 '87 Sneaker (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these in the pink color and they are SOO CUTE. I have gotten tons of compliments on them, and they look really crisp. I love wearing them with jeans or even with some slacks for an urban chic look. I think that these are some of my fave streetwear Nikes so far, as they have a really high-quality look from the faux leather and velvet-y accents. I love the pink color accents too, as they really make the shoes pop. The soles are nice and sturdy and I can walk around in them for hours! I had never had any air max before, as I usually go for the regular nike airs, but I think that the detail on the sole is a really neat touch. I wear these around pretty much everywhere, and am trying my best to keep them as nice as when I got them. They are relatively easy to clean since they aren't cloth, so I usually wipe them with a wet paper towel if I get dirt on them (but a lived-in look isn't the worst thing in the world!)

Maybe it is just the fit of the shoe, but they are simply so comfy and well fitting. These are rather true to size as well, I usually wear a 6.5W in sneakers with thick socks. These colors are also fun and cute; they are a nice muted color and slightly fall under the neutrals which makes it really easy to style without being too boring. I use these shoes to dance in as well and they nice and not too slippery + not too much traction on the floor. I like the matte / suede fabric as well. The mix in texture makes it really interesting. I don’t typically wear these style shoes, but I have been reaching for them more here and there because of the comfort and design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Air Max 1 '87 Women's Shoes had never appealed to me, but I am now a fan. My current shoe selection consists of Pegasus, Dia, and SuperReps. I recommend going up half a size if you have wide feet. Due to the pain I experienced in my left foot, I could not wear them after the 3rd day. The Nike Air Max 1 '87 Women's Shoes were a size 9.5- a perfect fit for my right foot. Unfortunately, the size was not wide enough for my left foot. A crease in the left shoe developed due to the inability to bend my foot while walking and standing. I usually go up one to a 10 due to the width of my feet in certain styles of shoes. I removed the insole to see if it would help, but it failed to alleviate the pressure or pain. I am willing to purchase the same style of shoe- only next time in a size 10. The Nike Air Max 1 '87 shoes are comfortable. I had no issues with my right foot on any occasion. I loved the color of the shoes and received many compliments on them. I didn't expect this style to become a favorite! If Nike provided these shoes in a wide width that would be excellent. The suede has a nice feel to it. If I could change one thing- I would provide wide-width options. I will make future purchases of this style of shoe. I am now a FAN!!!

The fit is great for my narrow foot, though slightly smaller lengthwise than my other pairs of Nikes. Regardless, the shoe is super comfortable, and I’ve worn them for a full day without issues. The design is great—I love the details, and the style, and the sole thickness gives me some added height. They look good with jeans, leggings, or a casual dress. These look so much nicer than my usual gym shoes for running errands or going to a casual brunch. The white leathery material is a nice change from all my other mesh/fabric shoes, and I like the suede contrast details. I love everything about this shoe, and I would definitely buy another pair (sized up) in another color!
