Not enough support for a 990
I am so disappointed. This shoe is all about padding and lacks the support of the previous 990 versions. Plantar fasciitis onset first day into wearing them. I'm a very active fifty year-old with an old Achilles tendon injury, and the previous versions of these 990s have saved my butt for years. What a waste of money. I would have bought Nike if I wanted a kids shoe. I might be way off here, but I imagine us old guys are the New Balance market, who else is buying these? You gave us wonderful support for years and spoiled us with the best shoes on the market... and now you brand this fluffy, sissified, slipper of a house shoe? BOO!
