What it is: A blush that defies genre with a silky, wet/dry formula of unprecedented artistry.
What it does: It features the brand's exclusive Translucent Pigment Technology, which contains pearls and pigments perfectly suspended in a transparent soft base to allow for multidimensional effects with a uniquely weightless texture.
How to use: Apply dry for a healthy glow or wet for a translucent, second-skin finish. When using wet, dampen a wet/dry blush brush and apply the deeper shade to the hollow of your cheek. Using the same brush, sweep the lighter shade across the cheek toward the temple, along the brow bone and onto the cupid’s bow to create a lustrous, watercolor effect that adds dimension in a seamless, second-skin way.

When I saw the print ad for these I knew I had to have at least one and that's the hard part as all the palettes are desirable, the genius lies in the pairing. I bought Jubilation which is a glorious warm combo of a soft bronze sunset color and a slightly pink tinged gold. Craving was the second purchase and is in the cool family which is a mauve/violet tinged bronze coupled with a lightly iridescent pink/silver highlighter. I prefer to use these wet and the brush is key here and I like the Nars wet/dry but more so, the Kevyn Aucoin contour brush. In both of these the darker colors can be used for slight contouring, especially Craving.

I love this set so much. I had to order it online because I couldn't find my color in stores anymore. I have an Olive complexion and the Frenzy blush and highlight are perfect for me! The color is rich but super lightweight. It gives a perfect glow!

I wear Adoration and apply it with a damp brush..Stunning It gives me a glow that I have not had in years!..Natural and beautiful!! I will never be without this color combo!! nor will you, once you try it!!

I have the Craving Blush and I actually use them as a highlighter & bronzer. I absolutely love it, it last all day long and is super pigmented!!!

Was the Nars packaging old?
It seemed the compact was old. Not the Nars blusher combo, but the packaging, as it was black and kind of tacky to the touch, almost sticky. Also I purchased the Orgasm trio: lip gloss, small blush (and I do mean SMALL) and blush brush. I love the color of the blush and the gloss but for that small amount of product, it came in a huge box. Waste of packaging. And no sample included.
