Mermaid Sandal (Women)

I bought these in Tan in size 39. I measure 7.5 and wear 7.5 in Gentle Souls, but typically order size 8, esp in sandals. I have slender feet and ankles but sometimes puff up in hot weather. This footbed is sooo comfortable, a comforting feeling on the foot. The leather strips at top and ankle is a little bit stiff right out of the box but is softening as I walk around. There's some extra room at the toe (length), but I feel that I ordered the correct size by going up rather than down. A "looser" fit -- these do not provide tight support around the ankle and foot, but I feel secure walking in them.

I bought these sandals in both the Arizona Tan and the Kiss Red Leather. They are cute, fashionable, and intelligently designed. The foot bed contouring and arch support are excellent. The ankle and foot strap are adjustable to wearers comfort, and the heel height is safe, yet stylish. I've returned the red (just too pricy a sandal to indulge in both colors), but would really love both. Do recommend.

This shoe has glowing reviews for a good reason. My only complaints are the ankle strap on the size 6 is too short. It hits at an angle just to reach my ankle. Also if you are a 1/2 size like myself don’t round up. I did this and they were enormous. Bought the 1/2 size down and they fit great except for the ankle strap. Could have done without the metallic leather on the heal. This brand sells out due to the comfort of the shoes. The two tone sandals and the metallic mixed in aren’t for everyone….which is a majority of their shoes. Would love to see more single tone leather. Then this would be my go to brand every single time. My last wish would be a latex free foot bed, but I would NOT want to change anything that would affect the comfort.
