Grotesque waste of money
I’ve been a loyal Arcteryx customer for over 10yrs, and over that period price has exponentially increased while quality has deteriorated. The price on this unit is absolutely abhorrent, and the fit/ finish is the worst.
What is there to like:
- it’s wind and waterproof
- nothing else
What is there to not like:
- sizing is a joke, I’m 6’4” and somehow a medium
- despite that size I can fit more layers underneath than I can count
- the zipper is a nightmare
- after few uses the material is starting to look overly weathered
- the material feels rough on the skin and overall uncomfortable
In short, the company threw all its engineering to pull something together that serves nothing, does nothing and looks like a waste.
