Monaca Fisherman Sandals

Oh! These Amie Rafa sandals? Get out! The leather—so soft, it’s like it took a spa day before showing up on my feet. And that buckle? Simple. Chic. Like, you’re not trying too hard, but you are. And the fisherman weave? It hugs the foot—hugs it!—like it knows exactly what it’s doing. No toe strangulation. No weird red marks. Just... caressing. Now listen to this—I’m usually a 39. A 39! But I had to size down to a 38. Who am I? Cinderella? And guess what? The 38 fits like a dream. A fashionable, leather-wrapped, non-pinching dream. Plus, the price? You’re practically stealing them. I mean, these are the sandals you want when you need to walk and look good doing it. Highly recommend. Highly!

As all of the other positive reviews stated, the leather is buttery soft and very comfortable. My only negative review of the quality of the sandal is the buckle which feels like plastic vs metal. I did return the first pair and reordered because the 3rd strap going across the top of the foot is wider than the rest of the straps. I thought the leather had stretched from the packaging stuffed into the shoe. However, the 2nd pair was the same way. I'm hoping in hotter weather when my feet are wider/swollen (I have a narrow foot), there won't be as much of a gap.

The leather is so soft, you will not need to break in these shoes. They do run slightly large. I am a 8.5-9 and got a 39 (my normal EU size). They fit me well but I’m probably in between a 38 and 39 for this particular shoe. They pair well with everything- skirts, trousers, jeans, shorts. I am in love. Honestly I can’t get over how buttery the leather is.
