Weird fit…
Weird defect: one shoe was smaller than the other and pinched after first wearing out - I certainly couldn’t hike in these. I contacted Merrell but never got any result. I had bought another pair of Merrell sneakers in the same order and have had lots of Merrells in the past…but these seem to have been made improperly.

Stylish, but a sponge with water
Bought this about a year ago and I am reviewing it again as I think it’s important:
It’s a great pair of shoes - comfy, a little stiff but it shouldn’t be surprising with such shoes and I wear them almost everyday. The only major downside is that it has poor water resistance. Stand for a minute in heavy rain and you’ll have wet feet. For its price I would’ve expected something higher in quality, but at least they’re stylish and comfy. If you’re looking for something more outdoor-related with better water resistance, I would not pick these shoes.

Great hiking shoe
Took them to the Black Hills for our Boy Scout summer camp. Did a lot of hiking: Black Elk Peak, Badlands, Devil's Tower to name a few. Took a bit to break in, but the support and durrability was excellent!
