Aster Sandal (Women)

I loved the look of this shoe so much, that I bought it in three colors. Unfortunately, it has zero...and I mean ZERO...arch support! I tried wearing one pair to an event and I felt like I was walking on bricks. I bought some stick on arch supports and tried again, but only made it about an hour before I had to take them off. Also, the heels show signs of wear very quickly. I don't know that they would last for several seasons. So disappointed. :(

I run between a size 10 and 11 and went with a 10 due to my narrow foot. While the size fit for the footbed, the shoe was too loose across the front straps for my comfort. The buckled straps do not hold your foot securely into the sandal. I could totally see me walking, stoping abruptly, and having about half of my foot continue to slide forward and out of the toebox. There was just too much wiggle room across the middle and the buckle did not secure my foot into the shoe. I am returning.

I looked and looked locally and online trying to find sandals that didn't go between my toes, rather a strap over my toes and I also wanted comfortable strap around my ankle. I found both in this sandal at Nordstrom. The leather is buttery soft and the shoe is extremely comfortable. The sole is soft and has a little cushion for the foot. I highly recommend.

Because of the high backs on these sandals, I ordered them with great trepidation. That worry proved to be unnecessary, as the leather is as soft as the finest glove leather. The fuchsia color is more like a deep pink, but they are so comfortable that I will overlook the fact that they are not a perfect match to a purse that I own.
