Well made shoes
I have this shoe for 2 years walking, hiking, running with dogs. I still have it on. My feet are protected by this well made strong shoe. Make sure wear socks for better feet protection.

WRONG LISTING NOT WATERPROOF
Nordstrom has listed these wrong, these ARE NOT WATERPROOF, nowhere on the shoe does it say goretex like other merrell shoes, and at the $100 price point, no way.
I'm more disappointed that Nordstrom shipped me a dirty/worn pair of shoes so I can't say much about actual wear.
Shoe is true to size, but has a larger/wider toebox than other speed styles? Can be fixed with a different insole.

Not waterproof
These shoes are comfortable with good arch support, but they are not waterproof. I bought these for Oregon dog walks. Water consistently soaks the top of my feet.

Not waterproof/grip is eh
I live in Oregon and it rains a lot and I usually wear OnCloud waterproof hiking boots but I wanted something more shoe like to go out in and the OnCloud waterproof shoes didn’t fit properly and were uncomfortable compared to their boots. So I tried these and they are very cute, very comfortable, and lightweight compared to my boots. BUT they are NOT waterproof they are water resistant because with enough of a pounding of rain or stepping in a puddle you will get water absorbed into your shoe. And the grip on wet grass or off terrain anywhere isn’t that good as I have slipped in muddy areas that I never would have in my hiking boots. So I recommend them for their looks, the price, and if you are ok with water resistance only.
