The uniform patch found on the right side of this hat was created to celebrate the Cubs' 150th year as a National League franchise. The design features two interlocking baseball diamonds, referencing the tradition that a 75th anniversary is known as a diamond anniversary the two diamonds together represent 150 years. The patch also includes 1876, the year the Cubs became a charter member of the league. The patch will appear on player jerseys during the 2026 season.
