Ashley Eyelet Detail Cotton Cover-Up Tunic

I ordered this coverup for an upcoming trip to Europe because I wanted a gorgeous coverup for some high end resorts and beaches there. It’s more than I would usually spend, but it looks so lovely online. It’s gorgeous in person, too, but the fit is odd. There’s a seam that’s hard to see online that falls right at the hip that makes the coverup billow out on top, bunch in at the hips and then billow out again. It disrupts the flow of the fabric and makes it look “bunchy” instead of flowing gracefully. Had to return...I don’t mind the cost, but it’s only worth it if the fit is attractive.

I scored a blue one on sale. My usual size M(8) fits well. At 5’4” the length is suitable for me, above the knee and tastefully stylish. I’m hoping that once laundered the fabric will drape better across the chest and shoulders. It seems a tad too full with the factory finish. Definitely keeping this. The eyelet is beautiful. The color is just as pictured and will look complementary beside blue waters. As others have said, you can wear it in shops and nice for lobbies. Don’t miss out on the sale price.
