Medium Voyou Leather Hobo

The quality of this bag really disappoints. I kept it because it otherwise fit the bill - somewhat edgy, good for the weekend, and large enough to fit a book or umbrella inside but not overwhelming in size - however, would not recommend buying the bag at this price point. Threads from the stitching have been coming out from day one (yes, and still are), and while understood that the leather is suppose to look somewhat distressed, it also looks somewhat cheap. Unfortunate.

I got this in dark khaki and I would say it's a good staple. I've always liked oversized, less structured bags and haven't been thrilled with the trend of the past 5-8 years of small, structured lady-like bags. I bought it because it's reminiscent of my much-loved Balenciaga city bag from 15 years ago. The leather is kind of hard (i.e. not soft and buttery like an old school Bal bag) but will stand up to wear and tear of everyday use. I've been carrying this purse for almost 2 months now and it's holding up well. A drawback is it doesn't have a top closure so spills will happen and I probably wouldn't carry it in a place where I might get pickpocketed.

The size med is perfect for everyday use. Looks good with jeans and crossed bodied, plus two toned hardware makes it practical. The leather and hardware are substantial and very good quality. Fits a bag organizer but too much stuff will make it heavy. I have the black one and receive compliments . It definitely is a trendy slouchy bag stand out that upgrades my casual outfits.
