What it does: Masque Quintessence helps deeply condition, smooth and improve the feel of dry, brittle hair. Enriched with botanical oils and butters, it enhances softness, shine and manageability while helping hair feel more resilient.
How to use: Before Shampooing: Apply to dry hair, focusing on length and ends. Work the product through with your hands to evenly distribute. Leave on for 20 minutes, then proceed with shampoo. For optimal results, apply L’Huile de Leonor Greyl to lengths and ends before applying the mask.
After Shampooing: Apply to towel-dried hair, focusing on length and ends. Leave on for 5 minutes, then detangle with a wide-tooth comb and rinse thoroughly.

Expensive. But might be worth it.
If you have healthy, shiny or young hair or hair that can be shiny with a little shine serum, you might want to pass on this mask. It simply isn't going to do as much for your hair for the price.
BUT if you have hair that is thinning with age, or has lost luster, volume and shine from color treatment or age, this will be worth EVERY penny.
This mask wil replace moisture and really change the texture of seriously dry hair after one application. It also imparts shine and I think it also moisturizes a dry scalp really well. It doesn't leave hair greasy or limp. Surprisingly, there's a lot of bounce and volume after using this, which usually doesn't happen after a mask treatment.
The scent is a bit strong, as is all Leonor Greyl products, but I think it's pleasant and not too overpowering.
Tip: I've left this on for just five minutes and had the same results as leaving it on 20 minutes.

Waste of hard earn money!
I am absolutely surprise that the Leonor Greyl Masque Quintessence Hair, dis ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR MY HAIR, and i used several times because i could not believe that it was so bad.
Was a waste of a lot of Money! Please do not buy it not worth it.
Much better and half the price Kerastase or even Better Rene Furterer!

Summer must have, great for damaged hair
Masque Quintessence is I know it’s pricey, but well worth every penny (in my opinion). My hair is really dry and pretty damaged from styling and processing, but this conditioner totally transforms it. I use it on my hair dry and let it sit for a while before I jump in the shower. The results are amazing. I highly recommend biting the bullet on the price and trying this masque. You won’t regret it!

Worth every dollar!!
Do not be put off by the price of this masque. My hair is 80 years old, colored, thin in areas, and fine. It was in need of a lot of intensive care when this product was recommended. I wish I had the words to adequately describe the significant improvements I've seen in the few months I've been using this and Greyl products. My hair is much thicker to the look and feel, and much healthier. This masque really does nourish your hair. I find it easier to apply to damp hair, so I spray water on before applying it since I use it before I shampoo. I leave it on for an hour! My hair loves it and it washes out completely.

Worth the splurge!
If your hair is damaged, dry, or you use heat products continually - this mask is for you. My hair is colored, thin and I am not very nice to it in general - but thankfully this is my savior. I use it once a week on my dry hair, let it sit under a shower cap, and then shampoo out. Instant results! I actually love my hair after using this - do your hair a favor and give it a try.

Masque Quintessence
I have long highlighted blonde hair and use this masque religiously 1-2 times a week to keep my hair looking healthy and shiny. I used to use kerastase chronologiste but find this to be much more effective in preventing and repairing damage from coloring and heat styling.

silky smooth hair!
I was looking for something special that I could use at least once a week to help deep condition my hair. This is a really lovely product that does the trick! My hair feel soft and silky and the product smells really lovely! It's a keeper!
