Mamaroo^® Smart Swing

My oldest son had a Mamaroo when he was born in 2019 but boy, let me tell you, this one sure is upgraded! My youngest son absolutely loved the comfortable seat, the hanging balls that could reach and play with, and the motion of the seat. I really loved the 5 point harness - I felt my baby was in the seat so securely. This Mamaroo is also very aesthetically pleasing and looks nice in our family room. Overall, a wonderful seat for my little one!

Overall the product worked wonders and felt very solid and secure and it was super simple to assemble! My 1 month old loved the different type of motions as well as the different combination of motions and speed that you can customize through motionsync. There were times where my little one was getting bored and fussy on the swing and I was able to calm her down by switching to another motion and changing to another preset music. It definitely made getting some work done around the house easier by putting her on the swing. The app was nice because I was able to change settings while I was working on the other side of the room without having to go over to press the buttons on the swing. I did have some struggles with connecting to google home and even using the bluetooth streaming. Eventually I gave up because the standard functionalities were enough.

When I saw it had MotionSync technology I was skeptical at first, like how could it mimic my rocking or swaying for my baby. It was super easy to set up and connect to the app. When I started the MotionSync, it had me do my typical movement for maybe 5 seconds and it picked up the swaying and speed! The 5 point harness was very comfortable for my little one and I liked that it had the option to lay him down flatter or sit him up. The only reason for 4 stars is that my baby would only last maybe 20 minutes each time, but I think that's more on my baby then the swing since my baby hates being on his back! At first glance, it is a high quality product with very nice fabric and beautiful design. It was quick and easy to assemble with several position options for baby as she grows. From the first use, my little one was pretty instantly soothed. It took a few tries to find the setting that worked the best, but it was only a few touches away from finding the perfect motion and sounds to calm her down. I really like that I can find a setting that mimics my own rocking motions and there was hardly any time transitioning to using this swing. Any mom can tell you what a relief it is to find something that will almost instantly soothe a crying infant and what a bonus to have a few moments of hands-free time as well! Being able to go get a bottle ready or throw a load of laundry in while seeing that she is content and safe is priceless. I really enjoy that I can set different settings or sounds through bluetooth on the app. It's truly a smart product that has many thoughtful features. Highly, highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby loved this swing, and it was a lifesaver for me. It gave me a safe place to put him while I cooked dinner and did the dishes. My little boy loves being stimulated and gets bored easily, but the mobile with spinning toy balls kept him engaged and distracted. I used the MultiMotion Technology to mirror my motion - I have an Android and the app worked great for mirroring my motion and controlling the swing. The harness gave me peace of mind that the swing would keep my little one safe, and the little guy didn't mind it at all. He did try to eat the straps. I know this swing is used in NICUs, which gave me reassurance that this was a safe place to set my little one down in while I got some chores done (or some much needed me time!). My one-week-old baby absolutely loves it! While it hasn't put him to sleep, it keeps him content and happily entertained, which has given me the chance to do small but important things like catch up on chores, take a shower, or even spend a few minutes on self care. For a new mom, those moments have been very tough to come by before using this swing. Even on days when he has been especially fussy, I've been able to put him in the swing and it calms him almost immediately. His favorite parts so far are the animal noises and the soothing U-shaped motion. Both capture his attention and keep him engaged. One of the features I appreciate most is the soft infant insert. Even though he's only a week old, the insert holds him snugly and securely. I feel comfortable knowing he is both safe and cozy, which brings me so much peace of mind. Safety is always at the front of my mind as a first-time mom, and learning that the Mamaroo is trusted in over 600 NICU hospitals gave me such reassurance. The added confidence of it being Baby Safe Alliance Verified and Greenguard Gold Certified makes me feel even better about placing my baby in it every day. Another aspect I love is the modern design. The sleek, neutral colors allow the swing to blend seamlessly into our home without feeling bulky or out of place. It's clear that UPPAbaby really thought about both function and style when creating this swing. The smart features are also a huge plus. I've been enjoying the preset options, which make it easy to quickly find a setting that works for my baby's mood. The Motion Sync is a unique and exciting feature as well. I'm still learning all the ways to use it, but I love knowing the swing has the ability to adapt and grow with us as we continue to explore its functions. Overall, the UPPAbaby Mamaroo Swing has been an incredible tool during these early newborn days. It gives me confidence that my baby is safe and comfortable, while also offering him stimulation and soothing that he clearly enjoys. At the same time, it gives me the gift of a few extra moments to breathe, reset, and take care of myself. As a first-time mom, that balance has made all the difference.
