Maisie Kitten Heel Slingback Sandal (Women)

This shoe paired so well with the JS Collections sequin dress I bought for a semi-formal wedding. I wanted a kitten heel (I'm 6'0 and don't "need" the extra height - want a shoe that's easy to move in! I love the thin straps and the way they look on the foot - delicate and sexy. They also felt secure, although the traps did slouch a bit (thus might partly be due to my own narrow foot). But alas, you do usually get what you pay for. After just ONE night of wear, in which I sat as much as I stood or walked (to and from the hotel to the ceremony and reception), the rubber bottom of heel showed far too much wear and the silver material bunched up a bit. Torn on how to rate these - overall a hit with the dress, but how do you give high marks to something that ends up in our landfill sooner?

These shoes are both elegant and comfortable! I have a special occasion coming up and I needed a pair of shoes to wear with a beautiful dress that I could actually walk in and stand in for long periods of time. Unfortunately, I never really learned how to walk in high heels and I also find them extremely uncomfortable as well, so I always look for low-heeled shoes. My search is often difficult because many low-heeled shoes look frumpy and unfashionable. But not these, as they are just gorgeous. These will now be my go-to dressy shoes for weddings, parties and other upscale events!
