RUNS SMALL IN BUST
Almost my dream dress in photo...I have a 39 inch bust (36 D-DD) 31 waist 39 hip...so I tried the 10 assuming there would be a little room...there was not. In fact it runs so small in bust area that this floor length gown was 2 inches too short on my 5'6" frame. Next, on to the 12...Still a little tight in bust so it pulls the dress up and it does NOT look nice. (I even tried a minimizer) With a bias cut you cannot be clinging in the bust and arms because then it does not fall correctly. The 12 hit the floor in 3 inch heels. Could NOT do the 14 because the hips were huge on the 12. So disappointed. Wore similar silhouette in same brand in a size 12 and it was a little big in the bust and hips but it was fine...Also had to hem it 3 inches wearing heels...so the sizing here seems off if you are comparing another Lauren dress. There is a subtle stripe that is more visible in person and a little shiny. Wish they had just done a flat crepe polka dot and it would have looked much nicer and more expensive. So if you don't mind a little shine and have a small bust/shoulders, this may be nice.
