Basel Bootie (Women)

I used to wear my basel booties ALL, THE, TIME. They were so comfortable, the heel was perfect, and I had them in every color. Recently, I realized the style did change, which explains why I noticed more of these booties at Marshall’s and TJMaxx. The old style is NOT like what you see before you today. I believe a customer somewhere down the reviews has explained it A LOT better, with spot on details. Listen!! These basel booties are not the same... the quality is so poor now.

I have purchased this specific shoe every year for 4 years, twice last year! This makes my 5th pair and honestly, it’s not the same shoe. I purchased one pair on a different site and returned that pair because it fit weird. Then I bought these thinking the would be more “authentic” well it’s the shoe design. The slope on the arch feels “longer” I will be returning this shoe.

I was looking for a basic black leather ankle boot for this fall and for whatever reason it wasn’t as easy to find as I though. I’m absolutely in love with a pair of black suede ankle boots I got 2 years ago from B.P and was hoping they’d have a leather pair because they’re so incredible comfortable...needless to say they didn’t. I found this lucky boots (also helped I got them in the anniversary sale too) but once they came in the mail I was so disappointed. Overall, they’re cute but also felt cheaply made for the price. They felt like I was walking on wooden planks. Also, they where too big as well but to be fair, I ordered a size up because they where out of my size and hoped it wouldn’t be too much of an issue if I wore them with little socks. Bottom line they where returned and I’m still on the hunt.
