Liane Mary Jane Flat (Women)

I first bought these in black and fell in love. Felt great right out of the box, no pain, blisters, or rubbing. While they are gentle on the feet, the shoe is sturdy and should last a long time if you treat the well, starting with protecting the leather bottoms. So, getting protective soles put on immediately. I also don’t recommend you drive in these to protect the heel leather (pull out those good ‘ole driving loafers!), don’t wear on consecutive days to give the leather a chance to breathe and dry, and re-stuff with the original shoe paper in between wears to maintain shape. Loved these so much I bought the cognac from the DJP site and the evergreen here. Thrilled to have a flat with personality and style, whereas most flats are meh. Not this one—the slightly squared toe and tiny stud detail set these apart. I’m wide in the forefoot with tiny heels and these were mega-comfy. These flats fit me so well, I can do pants, skirts, and dresses. Well-done, DJP, for a fabulous shoe, and Nordstrom for carrying them. Get ‘em while you can. Well worth the price.
