True black, true to size
Exactly what I was looking for! I love high waisted denim with little to no stretch, and these are exactly that. They are a true black denim with no fading or distressing. My office dress code is very casual, but I still like to avoid wearing jeans with holes/distressing, so these are perfect.
The weight of the denim is a tiny bit thicker than other Levi's Wedgies I own, so I'll probably only wear these in colder months.
If you're short like me (5'1") these hit right around the ankle. Truth be told I wish they were like 1 inch shorter for a little more ankle showing, but finding jeans that fit me without tailoring is such a task in itself, so I'll take it.
For me Levi's run TTS so I took my normal size.

too much give unlike Levis i am used to
These stretch out and lose their shape very quickly, very easily. They don’t feel like Levi’s as all because they have a lot of give. Comfortable, but not the Levi’s fit I’m looking for.

Love these jeans!
They shape your behind and don't leave it looking super flat like some Levi's do.
As you can see in the picture, they cut well above the ankle so be aware of that. As for fit, I'm 5'3 and 155lbs and ordered size 29. A bit snug but currently losing weight.

Great Fit - Comfortable and Stylish
Great pair of black jeans. The the denim is softer than I thought. But wearing black jeans in the summer in Florida, this is just perfect. I'm curvy and short. They fit my bum nice and were fitted in the thigh, fitted - not skin tight. After wearing all day there is some give but not sloppy baggy. Since it's a straight leg, nothing stretched out from knee down. I say they are true to size, but I haven't worn Levis in years and I just lost 35 pounds so I was unsure of my own size. Using the size chart my first pair fit but gapped a bit at the waist. I sized down and the waist fit nicely and the thighs were nicely fitted but not tight. I am 5' 2.5" tall so the 26" length is just above my ankle bone. I washed them and hung to dry.. They dried in a day and a half and kept their shape beautifully no shrinkage in length. Took the online advice of setting the black dye with vinegar and salt and I have had no significant dye transfer to furniture, car seats, or other clothing. Bought 2 pairs... now I need these in a regular denim color.

Too big to decide
Although the quality of these seemed good, they were too big for me. My hips are 47.5", but my waist is 34.5"; according to the size guide, I should have been a 16W (plus size) by my hip measurements, but the waist would have been far too large, so I risked the 34's. They were definitely too big; there was extra fabric all around my butt, thighs, and waistline. I'll try the same cut in the 33's, even though that's a full 3" smaller than my hips measure.
