cooler and warmer shades
Love it, but this color is considered warm and did not flatter me. The Swallowtail is warm too. Ringlet and Gossamer are cool. These are the best lip balms. So much better than regular lipstick. These make your lips juicy and soft.

Invisible on my lips
I am a loyal and long-time fan of Chantecaille make-up products. I have tried many of their offerings, but the Lip Sheer series was my first purchase. I was particularly attracted to the shade Swallowtail. While I find the quality of the product exceptionally high and the packaging luxurious and sleek, I was disappointed to discover that this shade is nearly invisible on my lips. My lips appear shiny, plump, and hydrated, but they also need some color. I treat the Lip Sheer as a luxurious lip balm and still enjoy using it, but I cannot wear it on its own.

Will repurchase
I purchased this in the shade Gossamer as an impulse buy and love it. I have tried other products from the brand and find them of great quality, and this didn’t disappoint. It is a lip balm and obviously not as pigmented as a lipstick, but still has enough colour to show up on my lips. The texture is so smooth and it glides on easily. It is slightly on the expensive side, but I would still repurchase. The packaging is also beautiful

Shimmering Monarch
First off, it’s a nice moisturizing lip balm. Love the warm color Monarch, but it has a fair amount of sparkle to it. Not a deal breaker, but the shimmery effect was unexpected. Would purchase again though!

Nice enough
I like a tint on my lip, i had shade swallowtail, which was perfect for me. It was hydrating and felt very silky on the lips. I either wore alone or on top of lipstick. Used it quite quickly and its expensive so wouldnt repurchase this. This would be great to recieve as a gift.

Sheer lip
Lovely textured sheer balm lip from Chantecaille. If you just want a little colour and hydration for no makeup/light makeup days this is very pretty. I got the shade Monarch which is a peachy colour (the other colours looked too pale for me) Very nice.

Perfect lipstick
I love Chantecaille's lip sheer because for me it's the perfect amount of colour and a little bit of shine. It's great for the day when I want the natural, 'no make up' look. The container is classy and easy to carry in my handbag. Ringlet is a great shade.
