'Dream Tisha' Underwire T-Shirt Bra

Once upon a time there lived a 16-year-old girl who could wear any old bra. Ten years, several weight fluctuations and one baby later, the amount of support she needed was significantly greater. Cheaply made bras could not 'hold their own' (pun intended). Enter the Le Mystere Dream Tisha. She tried on the size she generally wore and found the cups far too small. Going up a cup size while keeping the band width the same proved to be just the thing for the girl. Instantly, her breasts were 16 again. Her mind, gratefully, was not.

I love this brand, and was hoping that this smooth t-shirt bra would do wonders for my girls, but it just didn't. Fit fine (42G), but it made the girls kind of flatten out and had little hold on the sides, so a bit pointy and pushed to the side. I am sending this number back, unfortunately, and will purchase the old stand-by's. I just don't like how the bras that do look good and fit well only come in beige and black. Larger breasts look fantastic in many colors.

I love the Dream Tisha bras. I first heard about them through Oprah... and if Oprah likes it, it must be good. But after wearing them, I was sold all on my own. They are a very high quality and I have never owned a bra that provides this amount of support and perk for the big bosomed woman. The bra tends to fit a little snug in the first few wearings, but over time the band will soften and become a little more comfortable. I fluctuate between a 34DD to a 38G(4D) depending on what I've eaten the past few months, but these bras have always fit well. Don't be afraid to go one band size or cup size (or both) up from your usual size, you might find that it is a better and more comfortable fit in this particular brand. Nordstrom has a great return/exchange policy even if you estimate wrong, you can try again without much hassle. I've been able to exchange a few times trying to hone in appropriately (I don't live close to a store to be fitted) and have had great success each time. I love the way these bras look under sweaters, t-shirts, anything loose or snug. Even dresses. With careful washing and gentle treatment, I've been able to make these babies last for years and years. Which makes the price tag much more palatable. These bras are a fantastic value and for now, I won't even take a look at any other brand.
