What it is: A shower gel scented with Rose 31 and enriched with vitamin E, olive leaf, aloe vera and flaxseed extracts that cleans the body and the mind.
Fragrance story: Rose 31 transforms the famous Grasse Rose, a symbol of voluptuousness and unqualified femininity, into an assertively virile fragrance that can be worn by men and women. The result is a model of its kind: alternating feminine and masculine with the ambiguity of the centifolia rose, which is quickly picked up by a chorus of warm, spicy and woodsy notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedar and a touch of amber. In the background, the declared sensuality of guaiac wood and cistus, highlighted by the distinctly physical animal note, gives this fragrance a disconcerting sense of mystery.

Lovely rose scented shower gel
We discovered this brand while staying at the Fairmont Hotel. The Rose 31 scent is amazing. I was running out of my other brand of shower gel and took the opportunity to try the Le Labo in Rose 31. It is a nice rose scent that is not too overpowering. It is not drying to the skin and my husband likes it too. The packaging is very nice to look at in my shower as well. Highly recommend.

I purchased this after falling in love with the Laundress Rose 31 detergent. Like another reviewer said, the scent does not linger and I may try their suggestion of the body oil. In my opinion this does not justify the price tag, so I returned it.

Rose 31, I love it.
Poets describe scents. The rest of us are at a loss. I love this shower gel because of the fragrance. I generally don't care for rose but Rose 31 is not flowery. It's complex and sophisticated, a little mysterious and at the same time very soothing. It's pricey for a shower gel, but I discovered it at a hotel and decided I had to have it. And I do.
