Survives the mask!
I have been in the mood for red lip for a while now, maybe mask wearing side effect. However as a committed mask wearing one, I was afraid of red mess all around my lips. This is great, it lasts a very long time, minimal transfer below my lower lip, due to mask, beautiful color (525). It takes a little longer to put on, as you have to carefully outline your lips, but it stays. I needed to reapply in the middle after dinner, but that is expected.

Colors are rich, but applicator is odd
Nearly all my make-up and skincare products are Lancome, so count me as a fan! Having said that - I don't love this one. The applicator is too short, so you definitely have to do your top lip first or else get the product all over the wand. The tip is a small piece of spade-shaped plastic with spongy edges, and it takes some getting used to. You also need a steady hand to apply, since this is a thick liquid - otherwise, you're going to get a shaky lip edge, and it'll show for sure. Once applied, the color doesn't last more than a couple of hours, although I do note it's very rich! I was hoping to find something to replace the Matte Shaker, which was super easy to apply and lasted forever, but this isn't it, unfortunately.

Not as good as the Matte Shaker was
I was hoping this would compare to Lancome Matte Shaker that has been discontinued. It's close, but doesn't stay on as long as the Matte Shaker did.
