Smart Caviar Apple Watch® Watchband

I purchased this as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. Less than 3 weeks later the band broke into pieces while I was at a restaurant reading a menu. I’m so lucky that I didn’t lose my stainless steel watch that was attached. I was reluctant to purchase this after my sister purchased the same band twice. One fell off her arm at the airport, the second watch of hers is currently broken and resting in a box. Given what I thought I knew of the reputation Lagos. I did not think I would experience the same issues as my sister. Boy was I wrong! The item needs to be recalled. The thin pin holding the watch together is not enough to sustain the weight of such a band.
