Lux Diamond Rope Necklace

I love my Lagos necklace. I have collected the bracelets and was looking for a simple, lightweight necklace. I went to the Nordstrom in The Woodlands TX on the 10 point day. The saleswoman showed me the beautiful Lagos necklace and after trying the 16”on I asked about an 18” size. She checked the store Inventory and found only one 18” necklace and it was delivered in a beautiful presentation box within a week. The lobster claw clasp is so easy to use and the necklace is comfortable for everyday use.

I loved this necklace online and in store. But, when I finally tried it on, it didn't look as pretty around the neck as I had hoped, so I had to return it. I love layering and it hit me at a weird spot, even ordering the 18 inch and it's hard to see the diamonds, which are the statement look of and for the piece. Sad to have returned though.

This is a pretty necklace. It is not quite right for a high glam night. Some of the beads are tarnished. But that is silver. I wish it were treated to prevent that. Nevertheless, if you don't mind that vintage, distressed look, then you will be happy with the product. The diamonds are teeny - but add a bit of sparkle in the right light. I bought an 18" and 16". The 18 was too long and ended up being mostly hidden from view. The 16" was too short. More of a choker and with the weight of the necklace (it is substantial) it felt a bit confining. I am 5'7" height/weight proportionate - average neck size.

I’ve recently fallen in love with all things Lagos. Last week I purchased a lovely bracelet and earrings. Today I impromptu found myself in Nordy’s with my husband and saw this lovely necklace. It’s perfect for dressing up or down. I love the length and the ability to layer. I wore it out of the store- I couldn’t wait to wear it. Lovely addition to my new Lagos collection!
