How to use: Open the lid and unlock the sieve by sliding the button. Close the lid again and gently shake the jar to release the powder. Open the lid again and with the puff or a loose powder brush, apply to your face in a swirling motion for a flawless look. Start at the forehead, work over the bridge of the nose, over each cheek and finish with the chin, avoiding brows and blending at the hairline.

Matte Not Drying
This powder has a smooth Matt finish. It is in Kiki or drive. If users with the skin so that it isn’t conspicuous. I’m grateful that there is a shade range of colors to find a suitable match that looks natural and absorbs excess oil and keeps foundation I’m transferring.

lot number no match item number
It is my 8/9/10th loose powder from La prairie I don’t remember. Bought this time during a Nordstrom sale. Very strange, the lot number from outside package doesn’t match the lot number at the bottom of the pot. Suspicious, because this item has plastic wrapping and sealing. So didn’t use the product. I later bought another one at Nordstrom anniversary sale, and this time number is the same as usual.

Similar to the Cellular Loose Powder
I loved La Prairie's Cellular Loose Powder and I love this one as well, perhaps even more. This powder makes my skin flawless. It comes with the same (extra) travel size container as well. I REALLY like that they both have a lock and unlock feature, so that the powder doesn't come out when you don't want it to which is great, especially when traveling!
I did however dock one star, it's so similar to the Cellular Loose Powder version, yet you get half the product and pay over double the price ($120 more).
Tip: like the Cellular Loose Powder, a little goes a long way. Try not to apply too much, it is so lightweight and breathable on your skin, you won't feel like much is there, which is great, but if you apply too much, after a few hours of wear you'll be able to see some caking. However that won't happen if you apply just the right amount. I would recommend this product however, if you can't bring yourself to spend $220 on it, there are other option very similar for much less.

Excellent for dry skin/colder months
This powder is finely milled. It leaves your skin looking like silk with the right amount of luminosity.
Since I have a severe dry skin, it gets very oily throughout the day and this powder is not enough to keep my oils at bay around the t-zone. However, this works wonderful in setting my under eyes which is the driest area of my face.
This powder is specially great during the cold months.
BUT the PERFUME on this is EXTREMELY STRONG!
I mainly use luxury make up (almost all are scented) and this powder from La prairie has the strongest scent of them all.
Because of that, I rarely use this powder.
I also own the skin caviar foundation but that only has a subtle scent which I do not mind at all. In summation, this is a beautiful powder with a very strong perfume.
