Awesome Boots
I've wanted a pair that boots that had to fit these criterias.
1. Can walk all day in without any pain
2. Wrap around my legs without that awful gap at the top and not too much slouchy material by the ankles
3. Look professional enough for work and sexy enough for evenings out
4. Will last for years so I don't have to spend another 2 years looking for the perfect pair of boots
5. Looks great
6. Quality of workmanship and material must be good
I found it with these boots. They are so great. I can't believe that I can be so excited over a pair of boots but I am. It's pricey but I spent 2 years searching for them and I plan to wear them forever so it's worth it.

Nice but. . . .
I so wanted to love these boots---glowing reviews are all I read---but they definitely run small, I've had some color transfer onto my hands while trying them on, and the narrow shape of the toe area makes it difficult to get a good fit. I usually wear a 7.5 in dress shoes and an 8 in shoes that I wear with socks, but the 8 in these boots (which I may just wear with stockings or tights, but I figured I wanted the option of wearing socks, too) felt oddly snug. There seems to be enough room in the length, but the toe area is so narrow that the front of my foot didn't fit into much of that area. Just a strange fit. I have a somewhat narrow foot and slim but athletic calves, and I also found that the boot shaft was snug, although I could fit skinny jeans inside. When I tried on the boots with a dress, they slouched a little more than expected. I did like the height of the shaft, which was a couple of inches below my knee (I'm petite) but was flattering. I just expected to be blown away by this boot, and I wasn't. I've since tried on the 8.5 and will definitely go with that size, but I really wonder about all the reviews saying this is the best boot ever. it's attractive, for sure, and warm (very. actually, I wonder if this will be too much while indoors), and the fact that it's waterproof is the reason one can justify spending so much, but while the boot is comfortable enough for one with a 3-inch heel, I don't think I'll be walking far in it. Wish I could be more positive. I'm just a bit disappointed.

beautiful boots but calves too tight
I loved these boots but my calves were too big for these boots. I am 5'4" and have the calves circumference around 13.5". However since I am short, my calver are bigger on the lower part of the boot shaft than the taller person. The shoe part of the boots ran true to size and width. Too bad that I have to take them back because they are beautiful.

Beautiful practical boots
The mazy boot is not just classy but comfortable and waterproof. First day worn for 12 hours with no pain. and I have bunions!! Fit is true to size.

Best christmas present!
I received these boots from my husband for xmas and was quite surprised at his wonderful taste! I'm glad he bought them!
I love these boots they are warm, look great on and best of all are waterproof!!!
I am tall 5'8 and have very large " athletic calf's 17.5 " the boots did fit!
I also didn't realize the heel was that high until I read some of the other reviews... wow you can't feel it because of the wedge in the front. They are extremely comfortable and supportive.
I would recommend this boot to anyone. Well worth the money!

fashionable and WARM
I ordered these boots because I heard that La Canadienne waterproof boots look great and protect your feet from damp and wet weather. However, I had not heard how cozy the boots are without making your feet overheat. Like putting on cozy socks...but you are wearing cute boots. They are as advertised very fashionable. They can be worn with a nice skirt/dress or jeans. Well worth the price. Very glad I purchased.
