Anti Bac Clearing Lotion

Bad for your towels! I could not figure out what was bleaching my towels since I don't even have bleach in my house! I even tested it with an unwashed brand new towel, bleach spots the next day. I read online benzoyl peroxide will bleach anything and eveything it touches, and this was the only product I had with that ingredient. Luckily, I have white bedding - but my light blue towels are now ruined. Great for clearing stubborn acne - at the price of your towels and sheets if they are anything but white.

At 36, after a lifetime (so far) of clear skin, I developed cystic acne. Mean, ugly, sore bumps that left me feeling unpretty and severely self-conscious. My dermatologist prescribed a topical cream and an oral, the former of which made my skin much, MUCH worse. Talk about feeling down. So, after reading a few reviews, I tried the Kate Somerville Anti Bac Lotion and, take it from me, this stuff is a miracle. Within a few days, the ugly bumps had gone down, pesky pimples that just wouldn't go away have vanished, and my skin is radiant. HIGHLY recommend this product especially to those suffering with adult acne. Will purchase again and again.

I bought this for my teenage son who had moderate acne. He is a baseball player so he sweats a lot and dirt gets trapped. We walked into Nordstrom and based on his skin type they recommended the Kate Somerville acne product line. We bought this along with the Clarisonic cleanser (they have a grey color for men) and the other Kate Somerville oil free lotion and acne cleanser. After using for a month or so his skin cleared up noticeably. He's been using for almost a year now and the breakouts are much less. You have to be careful in the sun - use an oil free SPF because your skin will be more susceptible to burn. My son even asked for more for Christmas, so that's a testament to how well the products work.

I was a bit afraid of this product because I used benzoyl peroxide as a teenager and let's just say that it hurt more than it helped! However, despite a really good skincare regime, I just haven't been able to fully clear my acne...until this product came along! :) Remarkably, it does not bleach or discolor my pillowcases or clothing (I tend to use it at night). For regular acne, it dries it up pretty quickly. For pesky, deep hormonal acne, it reduces it much more quickly and it doesn't look as bad. Since I have trouble in my chin area, ever since this product cleared it up, I still put it on at night and have stayed totally clear for weeks. I do put an oil free moisturizer over it (white ice by Arcona), and haven't experienced any drying except in the beginning (maybe the first couple of uses caused drying but then my skin adjusted). You do need to use an oil free moisturizer with this product (or any acne clearing product) just to be sure your skin stays balanced and doesn't produce more/excess oil as you're trying to treat the acne. I am amazed by the results as I hadn't been able to totally clear my skin without this no matter how hard I tried. I used it on my 13 year old son too, and it has taken his acne away as well. Only other thing to note is you need to use sunscreen if you're out during the day. I recommend the Arcona Reozone or Philosophy Oil Free Take a Deep Breath SPF 30 ones if you have problem skin as these won't undo the work you're doing to get rid of the acne.

When I first used this product, my skin got really dried. So I used it once a day instead of twice a day and I used along with the hydration cream. After few weeks my skin got so smoother and acne skin got so much better!! Many of my friends say my skin looks so prettier than before. This is something that made my life so brighten. Love Kate Somerville products. Thankful that I found this product.

I do not have acne prone skin but I do have large pores on my nose and I have found nothing that will help me keep my pores unclogged. I only put this on my T-zone and it is making my pores noticeably smaller and is keeping them clean! I also have little white bumps under my eyes and I very carefully just put a tiny amount right on them and they are disappearing. I have only been using this for a couple of weeks and the change is dramatic. I have dry skin and I just layer my serum and moisturizer over top of this and it doesn't dry out my skin. I also only use it at night.
