Kahlani Floral Print Long Sleeve Midi Dress

This dress is so beautiful! The colors are deep, vibrant, and breathtaking. However, I had to size up from my usual size 2 to a 4. I was able to zip up the size 2, but it was tight. The size 4 fit better. This is the first time I have had fit issues with Ever New dresses! I am petite at 5’1 and the dress hits above my ankles so it serves as a maxi for me which is fine. It still looks great!

The dress is beautiful, and the material feels high quality. However, this dress runs very small, especially in the top portion. I am consistently a size 4 across designer brands and have a fairly standard build. I initially ordered a size 4 and could not get into it at all. I then ordered sizes 6 and 8. I was able to get into the 6, but it was extremely tight with no breathing room and very difficult to zip. I ultimately kept the size 8, which is the first time I have ever needed that size. The issue is not the waist or belt area, which fits well, but the top of the dress is very tight and the fabric has no stretch, so it feels unforgiving and could easily tear. I would strongly recommend ordering at least two sizes up.
