Navy shoes are hard to find. Pretty Navy shoes are even harder to find. I had such high hopes! The style of this shoe is lovely - flatters foot and ankle. It would have been a truly elegant shoe IF they had just left off the tacky "jewels". On the Navy shoe, the "jewels" reflect several colors, not just blue, and they end up making the shoes look like a child's sparkly dress-up shoe. Hopes dashed - I returned them. For the fit, the shoe did seem snug to slide on but once I put my foot fully in, that snugness actually hugged the shoe onto my foot making them feel very stable. They seem comfortable to walk in. I ordered my usual size: 11M.

I bought these in Grey, size eight D- I think it’s the first dress shoe that was wide enough for my feet. They are beautiful and went perfect with my evening dress. Our event was about four hours approximately two sitting. There was not dancing. I did add a gel pad for the balls of my feet, I was not in pain at the end of the evening. I felt like they had a French Sun King look to them and fully intend to wear them again.
