The Mia Petite High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

First, it is puzzling when people complain about the length when it is exactly as described in the product description. At 31 inches, the inseam is longer than on many petite jeans but the length works well a heeled boot. I had mine shortened a bit because I want to wear them with flats. Second, these are cut with the proportions of a true petite jean with the high rise not being so high as to hit the ribcage and the widening of the leg starting at the right point for a shorter frame, so no saggy seat or too much fabric in the upper leg. The result is an extremely flattering pair of jeans. Third, the denim is thick but not stiff, and the wash is a nice dark black. Fourth, the sizing runs slightly smaller than other Joe's so the advice to size up if between sizes is good. These are not inexpensive but there is not another well-designed petite jean on the market in this very current style.
