Jeans Gracie Bermuda Shorts

I needed 11" golf shorts with pockets and a little stretch. After reading all the great reviews on these shorts I decided to order them in 4 colors. They are everything and more! The fit is right on (For reference, I am 5'8" 152# and ordered a size 10), the pants do not slide down, and the colors are gorgeous. Although I didn't get them on sale, I will be watching for any sales on these. Even at full price, I am happy to find them.

The JAG shorts have been my go to for comfort, design and ease of care shorts. My first pass at a pull on flat waisted short and I love the ease of it and how good they fell on as the waistband lies flat and doesn't roll. I also appreciate the pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone; I'm amazed at how many bottoms have pockets too shallow for that. They look good with tees or camp shirts. They launder well, the fabric holds up to repeated washings and the shorts keep their shape. (I use cold water, gentle cycle, low dryer for a few minutes than hang to dry completely. For size / fit comment context I'll share that I am 5'4" / 101 lb and although I bought these in size 2 if I had it to do over I'd choose a 0 for better fit. Also if I could wave a magic wand I'd shorten the inseam just a bit but that is a function of my shorter legs and no knock on the short.

I decided to give these shorts a try after ordering Jag Jeans' pull-on jeans. The jeans didn't work out, but the shorts are GREAT! First, the fabric is soft and feels like a brushed cotton (it's a cotton twill blend). Then there's the advantage of the pull-on style, which some people don't like, but I love it! The shorts have generous pockets (fits my cellphone without worrying about it falling out), a flattering, not-too-tight, not-too-loose fit, and they wash and dry (on low) really well. I now have four pairs and LOVE all the colors I have: Black, Stone (beige), White and Conch Shell (blush).
