Terrible Customer Service
I am very disappointed with my recent experience with Nordstrom. I ordered a sweater online, and when it was delivered, it arrived with the security tag still attached. This should never happen and immediately created an inconvenience for me.
When I contacted customer service, I was told my only options were to return the item in person or receive a refund. Because I wanted to keep the sweater, I was forced to drive downtown to the Nordstrom location on Grand Avenue in Chicago. This required additional time, travel, and paying for parking.
Unfortunately, my parking was not validated, and when I asked whether any form of compensation or a future discount could be offered for the inconvenience, I was told that Nordstrom does not offer discounts under any circumstances. Given that this issue was caused by an error on Nordstrom’s end, I found this response extremely disappointing and not aligned with the level of customer service I expected from the brand.
Overall, this experience resulted in unnecessary inconvenience, added costs, and frustration. I hope Nordstrom reviews this process and considers better solutions and accountability when mistakes like this occur.
