What it is: A cream-to-powder eyeshadow that dries down to a smudge-resistant finish—now offered in new matte and metallic shades.
What it does: Formulated to glide on like a cream and dry like a powder, this liquid eyeshadow effortlessly swipes onto your lids and locks in without budging or fading. The weightless, water-based formula can be blended for a diffused wash of color, or built up for a bolder look that lasts.

How to use: For a sheer wash of color, swipe the eyeshadow wand along your lid to apply a thin layer. Start with a small amount of product—a little goes a long way. Gently pat with your finger or use a brush to blend. Liquid Powder sets quickly, so we recommend working on one eye at a time. For a deeper dose of color, apply another thin layer and blend with your finger or a brush. Let the first layer dry completely before adding more color.

The best eyeshadow on this planet!
The reviews for this eyeshadow on Nordstrom were so varied I had some slight hesitation before purchasing, but trust me when I say these won't be going back. I've finally found THE perfect eyeshadow. Contrary to a lot of reviews, these are so easy to use, extremely long lasting, and genuinely the only eyeshadow I came across that DOES NOT CREASE without being painfully drying or crunchy. These are a cross between the Milk Eyeshadow & the Kosas 10 Second Eyeshadow, but 100x better. They're a silky mousse consistency with easy application & blending (I use my fingers). I haven't experimented too much with mixing colors, but I feel like it's very possible but you may have to work fast because they do dry down quickly, but not to an uncomfortable feel. I have oily eyelids and no eyeshadow has ever sat still on my eyes, but these do comfortably. They last ALL DAY LONG but easily wash off with my oil/jelly makeup remover so there's no tugging on the eyes. I got the shades DIM, HATCH, FRESCO, & GLAZE. DIM is a very grayed out purple, which I love, because it's a muted classy mauve purple. HATCH looks more golden green than teal (as some photos show) but it's still a gorgeous smokey golden green color. FRESCO is a neutral taupe, and depending on what you pair it with, it could go cool or warm toned easily. GLAZE is a soft nudey peach, perfect for a subtle look or for toning down shades. All in all, I 100% recommend these and am praying so hard Ilia releases a dark blue/navy shade, as well as a smokey black shade. I need those two colors in my collection please!!!

Yuck. It is not a good formula. I got the color Gleam so between the name and the “chromatic” description you think there would be some shimmer or sparkle or something. Nope. Flat color and like the other reviewer mentioned the texture is mousse-like and it goes on patchy and uneven. As you try to blend the color disappears. Love Ilia but this was a miss, sadly.

Fantastic product
I am switching all my makeup products to clean versions and Ilia is one brand I wanted to try. So I bought Hatch and a bronzy color whose name I can't recall. I love them both but especially Hatch. I apply it as a liner on the bottom lash line using an angle brush. Then I apply it as a color wash on the upper lid. No raccoon eyes as the staying power is great. To get a darker application, just apply a few coats, letting it dry in between.

Love this in Fresco
I was apprehensive of this based on the reviews but purchased in Fresco and love it. It does have a whipped texture - I apply a small amount around my lash line and blend upwards with my finger - one eye at a time because it does dry fast. It is a beautiful color and perfect for everyday. It stays put without creasing.

Loved, but a lot was wasted :(
I got three different colors for traveling. I thought they would be perfect. I didn’t have to worry about them cracking and getting all over the place, and they didn’t take up much space…But unfortunately, more than half of it ends up getting wasted, because the wand doesn’t reach the top or the bottom. None of them lasted very long, which was very disappointing for how much they cost. I won’t be buying them again.

I purchased Umber and Dim. I wanted this to be a quick swipe of color and just add mascara. This eyeshadow did what I wanted: it was easy to use, stayed on all day without creasing, and works as a base for other eyeshadows. I have brown eyes with medium-toned skin. I also have Fresco and Mythic. All the colors are nice on me, with Dim being the faintest wash of purple, so that's probably my least favorite. But the formula is easy to work with as long as you work quickly, and in thinner layers. In general it lasts all day for me, which a challenge for oily eyelids. Perfect for a quick look with mask-wearing nowadays.
