fabulous fit and fabric
Eileen Fisher runs a size large, though I buy this cut in two sizes, xs & s, depending on how I want them to fit. The smooth elastic waist & smooth front is so flattering. The boiled wool is my new favorite fabric: warm enough for Winter, but comfortable in the Spring, too. This is a three season pants here in the Pacific Northwest. I LOVE & appreciate that I can trust Eileen Fisher products to be environmentally & ethically responsive!

Material is thin, but nice
I think my hips/butt/thighs are too chunky for this style of pant—if I upsized, I would be awash in material all around my legs, wading through a swamp of boiled wool. The material is soft and relatively thin, so it moves nicely—not as stiff as something like Geiger. I love the Nocturne color.

The pants are soft, warm, comfortable and stylish!
The pants are soft and not at all itchy the way some wool is. I love the deep claret color, the fit, and the wide legs make these pants very comfortable. They run slightly big, I purchased a medium, they are slightly loose perhaps the small would be a slimmer better fit if you do not want the pant legs too wide. I wear either a small or medium in EF depending on the cut.
