Mini Grade Quilted Messenger Bag

Too small for my needs

I bought this a couple years ago and just retired it out of my collection. It served me very well, was a great small size, could hold a full sized wallet and a water bottle. There is a hard bottom that flips up to make it more flat, which is great to hide items like tampons or vape pens for bag checks. The one thing I didn't like was the velcro closing, the hook size is on the flap of the purse and it would catch on my clothes and snag them, or scratch me while going in and out of the bag. Also it made it a little tough to do a one handed bag open, as you had to hold the purse down to pull open the flap and it made quite a bit of noise when opening. I actually used black duct tape to cover the hooks on the flap and solved the issue. Not the most secure but never had an issue. It served me well and is a good size. I also would shorten the strap and use around my waist when my shoulder would get tired, very secure clip.

Like many other reviewers, I love this bag and bought it, even though there were many reviews complaining about the very issues I struggle with as well. I figured surely the velcro couldn't be that bad. So, buyer beware. But the design of the bag is otherwise perfect for what I need, and I'm still glad I purchased it, I use it every day. Some tips for a design update if that ever happens: - the velcro closure is too much! Too wide (catches on everything), too LOUD in quiet places. I think a snap or magnet closure would work just as well. - including a slim zippered pocket on outside back of the bag would be helpful - too many times I have used the only available exterior pocket (on the outer flap), only to forget to zip it closed and then everything dumps out when I go to open the velcro opening to access the main compartment of the bag. Super annoying.

It relaly needs a pocket on the back, a slide-in phone pocket. Also a magnetic closure would be better than the velcro.

I bought this bag because I commute to NYC daily for work and I needed something small but sturdy and that can hold my essentials. This bag is just that. I don’t like to travel with much and this bag makes it so much easier to carry my essentials. I absolutely love it!

Bought this bag for holidays. Fantastic size and strap length. Just what I was looking for.
