Helene City Dry^™ Genuine Shearling Waterproof Boot (Women)

Near perfect boot! They fit my 15.5 inch athletic calves perfect. I love the traction on the sole. Clean lines and soft interior. I’m a size 7.5 and I ordered an 8, but I don’t think sizing up is necessary. Wish the interior shearling was black and it had a little more arch support. I love them and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I have several La Canadienne boots, all size 6 1/2 and fits great. I ordered 6 1/2 and I ordered 6 1/2 but could not get it on my foot. The instep was too small. I put the boots up to my other boots and the length was the same as the other boots, so it is the instep is off. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. La Canadienne needed to get the size right.

This is a most comfortable warm boot. I usually have cold hands and feet in the winter due to Reynauds and have to be careful not to get them too cold. This boot answers that situation by keeping my feet warm. The shearling lining is very comfortable on the feet. The boot is classic enough that you can wear it with many outfits: skirts, dresses, as well as jeans, etc. If you opt to wear wool socks with them, then get a half size bigger; all that shearling lining takes up space but worth it.

Sad to return this boots. I couldnt zip up the right boot. I have the Stratford boots with 14.5 inch calf size and able to zip it up without difficulty. I bought this because it was supposed to have a bigger calf circumference size. But looking at the description now, they have removed the calf circumference.
