Long Cardigan

I purchased this cardigan in the blue color. The material of the cardigan is soft, and warm enough for autumn /early winter weather. The fabric isn't overly thick, so I don't think you will "sweat" while wearing it. I love that this cardigan has pockets as well. There is only one "negative" about this cardigan, at least in my opinion. The cardigan seems to have a "junior" plus size fit. I know the Halogen brand sweaters tend to run on the small size, especially in the sleeve area. I know. I own a red XL Halogen sweater I can no longer wear after gaining perimenopausal weight. That being said, I purchased this cardigan in a 4X as I like my cardigan sweaters a bit roomy. The fit was great, while the sleeves were just slightly less roomy, but works well for me. For reference, I'm between 155 to 160 lbs., 5'4, with stats approximate of: 36-29-38/39. This plus size model is slightly slimmer than I am, and is wearing a size 2X sweater. I'm more of a "junior" plus size in outer wear. I tried a 2X Leith size sweater that fit more like a regular plus size fit. Therefore, in my opinion, I would conclude that this sweater may be more suitable for women like me who are more of a "junior" plus size. I would advise sizing-up if you have not-so-skinny arms like myself. Other than the sizing, the cardigan has a nice relaxed fit and style for casual wear. I went and bought two other colors, the red and "olive" since this style of cardigan seems to work for my "junior" plus size body frame. For reference, I usually wear size XXL cardigan sweaters with the brands Caslon, All In Favor, and Treasure and Bond, but wear a 3X-4X in BP cardigan sweaters, which have more of a "junior" plus size fit.
