Seaside Crisscross Slide Sandal (Men)

The sandals overall are fairly comfortable and high quality. They look nice on and have good arch support as well; many slides of this nature have little or no arch support. They leather seems to be of high quality and the leather-covered insole also provides a good feeling under the feet. There are a couple of issues I'm having with them so far (still fairly new): 1. The sandals are very loud when walking. The leather bands rub together and cause a significant creaking sound. Perhaps this will disappear as the leather breaks in; 2. The uppers on these are unlined, which means the rougher back side of the leather rubs against the bare skin of your feet (assuming you wear them w/o socks). While the sandals are comfortable overall, this can be an irritation over a longer period of wear (and might be the reason why the sandals creak when I'm walking). Most sandals/slides like this in this price range are lined with leather on the upper to maximize comfort. Even lower priced shoes like this have a leather lining for the upper. While this is a little nitpicky, it does make a difference I think. Overall, the shoes are well-made and appear to use high grade leather and they are stylish without being too crazy. If you're looking for shoes in this price range, they were worth a try.
