Best Shoes for Big Size People
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a been a Brooks customer for many years, but I have never come across any shoes like these ones. I am an obese person at 400 lbs. and when I wear these shoes, I feel like I am walking on air. I feel more energetic and want to start running. These shoes fit so perfect around every part of my foot. I can automatically feel the difference once I put these shoes on. The bones in my feet tell me how great they are and I feel no pain. These shoes actually motivate me just by wearing them. I just a second pair at work so I have a pair at home to work out and a pair at work to walk all day. These are the best shoes I have seen and I will continue to be a Brooks customer for many years. I highly recommend these shoes to Big Size people. These shoes have motivated me to start a transformation journey to start losing weight.

They just don't feel like real shoes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn Brooks for decades and was very excited for this release. However, the excitement was unfortunately short lived.
Once I received the shoe I instantly had a 3 mile walk planned and I couldn't get back home fast enough.
These shoes hurt, and hurt bad. I tried really hard to figure out what exactly was wrong, and sadly it comes down to one major thing...it's all plastic!
Nothing on this shoe feels "real". Just look at the pictures of it. They don't even look like real shoes. Maybe like space boots, or in a cartoon, or something? I love the previous Adrenaline GTS 25, the '24 Beasts, the Ghost Max 3, but these just don't feel like the Brooks shoe that I have become to know.
It's like Brooks wanted to push the envelope and the entire thing fell on the floor. Maybe they will work for others, just not me. I tried to find a shoe to compare them to and all that I could think of was a full on racing shoe or marathon shoe.
I hate leaving a negative review but it's just the honest truth. Maybe the next Brooks shoe will be great but we will have to wait and see.
Also, can you PLEASE make the Flex in a wide and extra wide??? Wide feet want to try them too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a heavy heel-strike runner. My first pair of Glycerin GTS 19 was my introduction to Brooks running shoes, and since then every new generation of Glycerin I’ve bought has been compared against the feel of the GTS 19. This time I first bought the Glycerin 23. It has some of the same underfoot feel as the GTS 19. Later I also bought the Glycerin GTS 23, but overall I prefer the Glycerin 23.

Lots of changes - may or may not be better depending on the individual
There have been enough changes between the Glycerin GTS 22 and the Glycerin GTS 23 that the fit and experience are significantly different. The changes to the heel drop, forefoot tuned foam, GuideRails and "updated geometry" translate to much more than a year-to-year upgrade and more akin to migrating to a different shoe altogether. For me, that meant that after decades of wearing Adrenaline and more recently Glycerin, that my size 12 did not fit as the toes rubbed up against the toe box. After 4-5 runs and walks on paved trails with varying hills ' flats, I returned a size 12 for this size 12.5. Not too surprisingly, now the increase to the size 12.5 caused a different toe box problem by now being significantly too wide. I immediately bought a few Glycerin GTS 22's and the newly redesigned Adrenaline GTS 25 (which is truly an improvement over the previous generation) and will be back to my standard size 12 shoe. So, my warning is to not assume that the Glycerin will fit you the same as before - try on the Glycerin GTS 23 in a store and run on a treadmill rather than just ordering your previous size online - it may or may not fit or the experience may not be what you want.
