Double Breasted Cotton Blend Blazer

I think this blazer is really pretty and the cut is a beautiful tailored look. I needed the XXS and it was canceled, and the XS shoulders were a bit too wide (and there was slight gaping in the sides of the bust) so it didn't look as well as it could. The XS is close to true-to-size I think I just needed the XXS. But the biggest issue is that the Tuscan Saddle (brown color) was not as pictured; it's much darker. The color on the Nordstrom website was a bright true (light) saddle color but the actual blazer is a true brown (almost as dark as chocolate). I really wish the picture would have accurately conveyed the hue, and that there were more options in XXS. However, if you like the colors shown, the blazer is really nice (and I wish it would have been the color shown on the website, which inspired me to purchase in the first place); I will stay on the lookout for other colors and XXS options.

I absolutely love this jacket and have it in a few colors. It's a heavy jersey type material with plenty of stretch and very comfortable. Puts an instant polish to jeans and a tee with zero effort. The sleeves are just a tad on the short side but I always wear mine with the cuff rolled up so the inside lining shows to add a little style so the length doesn't both me at all. The only down side to the black is the lining is also in black so there is no contrast when the cuff is rolled up. Even though this is double breasted, it lays close to the body so it doesn't have that awkward extra bulky material from the side view.

I usually don't buy multiples of items, but with this jacket I bought several colors. The fit is that good! It's difficult to find a jacket that looks good on smaller frames and doesn't overwhelm the body. This jacket is not too long, and not too short. I think it's a classic style that will look good for years, not a fad that will go out of style. It looks good buttoned or unbuttoned, and you can dress it up for work, or casual with jeans.

I wanted to love this jacket. It is a nice medium weight fabric which is nice for California winters, love the doubled breasted look and the fit was true to size for me. However, the jacket came out of the package very wrinkled. I could tell this was always going to be wrinkled every time I wore it so sadly I am returning it.
